Those ideas have been reflected in the popular culture of the time in multiple artistic endeavors, and particularly in Europe where class culture was the strongest. "Sorry" (using the Gilmore Girls pronunciation), didn't mean to get so pedantic, but your observation remains correct.
It definitely makes sense! And I've noticed it not just with European ones, but Korea has deep thoughts about it too, from Parasite to Squid Game to Culinary Class Wars.
